There have been a lot of people ask me lately how I get so many coupons to do all of my deals. I subscribe to the newspaper (Sunday only) to get them, but I only get one set a week unless its a really good week, in which case I may buy an extra one.
There are lots of other ways to get great coupons. Here's what I do:
1. Print them online. I scroll through websites like coupons.com once a week or so and if I see any for things I know I am going to need or high value ones I go ahead and print them. Otherwise I just print them as I am putting my deals together to save ink.
2. Sign up for mailing lists. If there's a product or brand I love and use ofter I'll sign up for their emails or home mailing lists. Some good ones are Nestle, Pillsbury, General Mills, Proctor & Gamble, and Kraft Foods.
3. Sign up for the All You magazine. It's got a ton of great coupons in it. You can get a 12 month subscription for less than $20.
4. Ebay. Whenever I know there's a really hot coupon and/or deal coming up, I jump on Ebay and buy a stack of coupons. It typically costs me less than a few dollars, but I save a ton of money by being able to stockpile. Recently, a $3 off Snuggle fabric softener came out, so I bought 20 coupons for around $4. After using all 20 coupons (and getting the fabric softener for $1 each) I saved $60.
5. Contact the Companies- Love a certain brand? Email them and let them know! More often than not they'll send you coupons as an offering of gratitude for expressing your opinion.
6. Follow my blog! No, really. :) I post hot deals as I come across them, and tell you exactly how you can do them too!
